If the name of this flower sounds like a spell from Harry Potter, that’s because the ranunculus is pretty freakin magical. And that’s all I have to say about that. Back later this week with something much less poisonous to eat.

i looooveee ittt!!!!!
A belated response to day – not so hard, really. Just stick the corns (corms?) in the ground. But of course, I have yet to actually do it, so what do I know?!?
I remember ranunculus as one of my mom’s favorite flowers, when I was a kid. I still adore them. Every year around this time, seeing them blooming around, I start to think about planting some – maybe you’ve inspired me to finally do it!
Jill, that sounds so civilized, planting your own ranunculus. I would be duly impressed.
Oh, I love ranunculus. I fell in love with them a few years ago, in Paris, where they are everywhere. Now, when I find them, I splurge, and adore until the last petal falls. Lovely!
Ooh, one more reason to look forward to living two hours from Paris! As if I needed one. ๐
